Most business owners have neither the time nor the interest to learn how DNS works or why a database index matters. That's completely reasonable — it's not their job. But trust has to come from somewhere, and I've found the fastest way to earn it is to actually teach: explain the thing clearly enough that you could follow along, and you'll know I understand it well enough to be trusted with the parts you'd rather not think about at all.
That's the whole idea behind the free resources. It's not a funnel. It's the pitch.
